Deliveries en route...
In keeping with the statewide ”shelter in place” order, Fully Furnished Ministries has had limited activity in serving the community during the past seven weeks. But by God’s grace, we have served 11 families through instituting the Covid-19 guidelines we received from Good Samaritan Health Center of Gwinnett. (see below)
One family we served in this manner was a woman in Duluth. She and her 9-yr. old daughter moved to a new apartment prior to the “shelter-in-place” order. This woman and her daughter were displaced due to domestic violence. While she was patient and understanding of our limited operations during this time, FFM felt a strong obligation to this family to deliver her furnishings as soon as possible. Using our new guidelines, we delivered two beds, a sofa, love seat, coffee table, 2 end tables, lamps, and bar stools to this family in need.
Our Covid-19 Process and Guidelines
Deliveries - We are delivering on a limited bases to those families that can receive furniture delivered to their door. We are not going inside any home at this time. The client is responsible to get their furniture inside and set up. Our volunteer team sizes are limited and all volunteers are required to wear masks and gloves.
Donations - Each Friday, from 10AM-2PM. We are receiving donated furniture delivered to the warehouse by RSVP only. Furniture is received outside and then wiped down before placing in warehouse. All are required to wear masks and gloves. In order to donate furnishings, please contact John Dance at johnd@fullyfurnishedministries.org to reserve a drop-off time.
