The Board

Jeff Myers | President and Chairman

John Dance | Executive Director

Mary Myers | Secretary

  • Jeff Myers retired from FirstData Corporation (now Fiserv), a Fortune 250 leader in payments and technology, where he led the government sector and worked closely with state and local agencies, particularly in Health and Human Services.

After retiring, Jeff felt called to serve a Kingdom-focused nonprofit and joined Fully Furnished Ministries’ Board in 2015 through relationships with existing members. Drawn to the mission of helping families emerging from crisis, he saw potential to expand the ministry’s reach by engaging more volunteers.

He became Board Chairman in 2018 and has since led a rebranding initiative to enhance the volunteer experience and deepen impact on the families served. Jeff brings over 25 years of leadership experience to his role, helping guide the ministry in stewarding time, talent, and treasure while staying focused on its mission—to be the hands and feet of Christ through the gift of furniture.

Originally from Indiana, Jeff enjoys traveling and cheering on his favorite hometown sports teams.

  • Born and raised in Long Island, NY, John Dance was one of nine children in a vibrant Pentecostal family. He earned a B.S. in Criminal Justice from Niagara University in 1980 before serving eight years in the U.S. Army, where he held multiple leadership roles and rose to the rank of Captain.

After the military, John spent two decades as executive operations manager with Pepsi-Cola, leading large-scale operations nationwide. In 2011, he transitioned into ministry, serving for seven years as Director and Pastor of Operations at Victory Church, where he led nearly 800 volunteers across seven departments.

Today, John serves as Executive Director of Fully Furnished Ministries. He leads a team of over 300 volunteers and seven staff, managing warehouse operations and coordinating weekly activities that support families emerging from crisis.

John’s life reflects a strong commitment to leadership, service, and faith. He and his wife Amanda are the proud parents of three adult daughters: Jessica (25), Kaylin (22), and Laiah (20).
