Your used furniture will change a life. Items we gladly accept include:

Beds, Beds, BedsThis is our #1 need! We accept mattresses, box springs, and bed frames (sorry, no King Size). Header and footer boards are acceptable as long as they come with the frame. We prefer full sets (mattress and box spring) if possible.

Dining Table and ChairsFamilies who eat at a dining table have stronger bonds and healthier communications. Dining in dignity also helps children have confidence. We can accept most dining tables and chairs.

Most dining room tables and chairs and we prefer smaller tables for seating 4 – 6 people due to most of our families residing in apartments.

Bedding, Linens & DishesOne way we help complete the home is to help take the next step to dignified living. We now finish our mattresses with sheets, pillows and blankets. We now can finish a dining table with dishes.

Dressers / Chest of DrawersGiving a dresser helps to complete a bedroom as well as help learn useful life skills like keeping a tidy living space.

Living Room FurnitureWe accept sofas, end tables, coffee tables, chairs, futon beds and other decorative items, such as small bookcases.

Sofas, end tables, coffee tables, chairs, futon beds, and lamps [a photo is required for all sofas]. Sectionals and sleeper sofas are not accepted.

Accessories

Nightstands, lamps, small mirrors, kids’ desk, and small bookshelves.

Items We Cannot Accept

We appreciate your understanding that we can't accept all furniture. Unfortunately, some items are just too large or not compatible with the small apartments/homes we furnish.

  • Light fixtures

  • Baby furniture such as cribs or changing tables (due to constantly changing safety standards)

  • China cabinets, hutches and corner cabinets

  • Entertainment centers, including armoires

  • Homemade furniture

  • Large bookcases (over 36″)

  • Office furniture including file cabinets and large desks

  • Used Pillows/Used mattress pads

  • Bicycles

  • Pianos

  • Any product recalled by the US Consumer Product Safety Commission (www.cpsc.gov)

  • ‍Any furniture with rips, tears, stains or broken beyond repair.

  • Any mattress with rips, tears or stains

  • King size beds including mattress and box springs, sleep number beds, loft beds, captain’s beds, bunk beds, wall beds, water beds.

  • Headboards and Footboards WITHOUT rails or hardware

  • All appliances, including washers, dryers, microwaves, stoves, etc.

  • Sectional sofas, Sleeper sofas, futons, or reclining sofas

  • Patio furniture or sunroom furniture

  • Recreation tables (i.e., ping-pong, poker, or pool tables)

  • Rugs

  • TVs and stereo equipment

  • Home decor such as artwork, knick-knacks, or window treatments
