Meet Victor Reed and Jill Snelling, two of our regular and devoted volunteers on our Restoration Team, posing with a piece of beautifully refinished furniture. These are two people that make serving at our warehouse FUN!

Victor Reed has been serving with FFM for about six months. He is originally from Oklahoma and got his degree in Physics from East Central State in Ada, Oklahoma. More recently he was in the business of buying, fixing up and renting out homes in the north Atlanta area, an experience through which he developed the carpentry and other handyman skills that make him such a valuable part of our ministry. Victor said he serves God through FFM “to show God’s love” and “because the ministry really shows that somebody cares”. Victor is very active at Campus Church of Christ which meets at Greater Atlanta Christian. He has been a real blessing to us!

Jill Snelling has been serving regularly with the FFM Restoration Team for several months. Originally she was in marketing and advertising, but her true passion has been restoration. For the past eight years she has been a professional refinisher, owning her own company named Joyous Finishes in Alpharetta. She is an expert at giving tired and worn furniture new life and new homes. She likes FFM because it offers an “ongoing, consistent opportunity to serve”—a chance to “touch the lives of a lot of people and go home feeling good.” Jill and her husband are active in Northpoint Church and serve in several of its ministries.

FFM is always open to using peoples’ different skills, offering opportunities to serve in many different ways. We’d love for you to get involved with our ministry using your gifts, talents and strengths. If you love to pray or share the Gospel, join our Hearts Team. If you want to use your physical abilities or time on a Saturday, join our Hands Team. If you like to make the old, new and work with your hands, join our Restoration Team. No matter if its just occasionally or regularly volunteering, all help is needed and appreciated! Find out more by clicking here.
