Edmundo and Aurimar had no furniture and no money to buy furniture. They and their two young daughters were literally sleeping on the floor. Lugar Alto (High Place) Church, one of our ministry partners, referred them to us, sharing with us that the Morales family had just recently arrived from Venezuela. We were thrilled to be able to fully furnish their apartment on short notice (thanks to many generous furniture donations!).

Edmundo and Aurimar were so grateful and so encouraged by our ministry that they decided to volunteer to serve with us just a couple of weeks later. Full of smiles, they served on one of our workday crews, delivering greatly needed furnishings to two other vulnerable families. What a great example of paying it forward!
